With extensive experience in research, commercialization, and leadership, he will share his perspective on navigating career opportunities, translating research into real-world applications, and building professional networks.

He began his career with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada as a research scientist in Lethbridge, Alberta, and was later appointed to management positions as Research Centre Director in Charlottetown, P.E.I., and Lacombe, Alberta, before his appointment as Director General in 2003.
